UAE, 13 May, 2024 : According to Asharq Business, UAE investments in Egypt amounted to $30 billion prior to the unveiling of the Ras El-Hekma project. Jamal Aljarwan, Secretary General of the UAE International Investors Council (UAEIIC), highlighted the UAE's longstanding commitment to investing in Egypt since the 1990s, recognizing Egypt as a crucial partner.
Speaking at the 13th AIM Investment Summit in Abu Dhabi, Al-Jarwan noted that current total investments in Egypt have exceeded $65 billion. This positions Egypt as the UAE's most significant partner and its second-largest investment market globally, trailing only behind the US."
