UAE, 22 June, 2024 : The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has announced the establishment of the Mexican Business Council, aiming to boost bilateral trade and investment between Dubai and Mexico. This move highlights Dubai's growing appeal to Mexican businesses, with 108 Mexican companies registered as active members by the end of Q1 2024.
The inaugural Annual General Meeting of the Business Council was recently held at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters. Key objectives discussed included strengthening economic relations and building beneficial partnerships between the two regions. The meeting also outlined upcoming events.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, stated, “We are committed to empowering Business Councils to increase opportunities between Dubai's private sector and global business communities, enhancing economic and investment partnerships across all sectors.”
The Business Councils under Dubai Chamber of Commerce support the interests of international companies in Dubai, promoting sustainable bilateral trade and investment growth. The chamber aims to expand the number of Business Councils to align with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), driving foreign trade growth and supporting local companies' global expansion.
