Ministry of Finance Launches Dedicated Page for World Bank Advisory Services

UAE, 01 October, 2024 : The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has launched a dedicated page on its website for the World Bank's advisory services, enabling local entities to apply and track their requests efficiently.

Younis Haji Al Khoori, MoF Under-Secretary, highlighted the longstanding partnership between the UAE and the World Bank, emphasizing their collaborative efforts to strengthen financial and economic institutions for sustainable development.

During a workshop at Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy, World Bank officials, including Safaa El Tayeb El Kogali, Country Director for the GCC, and Iva Hamel, UAE Resident Representative, discussed the Bank’s mission, services, and ongoing initiatives.

The workshop also explored areas of cooperation, focusing on key issues such as competitiveness, innovation, climate change, governance, and women's economic empowerment. Discussions with UAE government representatives aimed to identify further opportunities for collaboration.

Additionally, the MoF and the World Bank signed a second renewal of the Advisory Services Payable Agreement, originally established in 2014, to provide technical support to UAE authorities.
