UAE, 03 October, 2024 : The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has called on Resident Juridical Persons with licenses issued in August and September to register for Corporate Tax by 31 October 2024. This applies regardless of the year the license was issued, with the FTA warning that failure to comply could result in administrative penalties.
The FTA emphasized the importance of adhering to timelines set out in FTA Decision No. 3 of 2024, in line with Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022. Juridical Persons must submit their Corporate Tax registration based on the month of license issuance.
Registration for Corporate Tax is available 24/7 via the EmaraTax digital platform, with a streamlined process taking around 30 minutes. The FTA encourages all taxable persons to complete registration promptly to avoid penalties and to consult the Corporate Tax Law on their website for further guidance.
