Oman, 18 October, 2024 : Oman and Luxembourg signed an agreement to prevent double taxation on income and curb tax evasion, aimed at boosting trade and investment between the two nations. The agreement offers legal protection for investors by preventing double taxation and clarifying tax application mechanisms.
The agreement was signed by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Salim Al Harthy, Oman's Ambassador to Luxembourg, and Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Gilles Roth. During talks, Luxembourg reaffirmed its commitment to leveraging the agreement to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
