Oman, 28 February, 2025 : The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) hosted the Omani-Uzbek Business Forum to strengthen trade relations, investment opportunities, and export-import activities between Oman and Uzbekistan.
The forum coincided with the visit of an Uzbek businesswomen delegation, comprising representatives from real estate, electrical engineering, textiles, private education, medicine, and trade sectors. Discussions centered on investment incentives in Oman, highlighting key opportunities across various economic sectors.
As part of the event, B2B meetings were held between Omani and Uzbek businesspeople to explore partnerships and foster cooperation. These meetings provided a platform for exchanging ideas and identifying potential areas for collaboration.
An exhibition showcasing products by female Omani entrepreneurs was also held, emphasizing their role in the country’s economic development. The forum served as a significant step in expanding bilateral trade and investment ties, reinforcing cooperation between Oman and Uzbekistan.
